First of all, I welcome everyone to the Civil Engineering Department - Al-Hikma University - Sana'a Branch, based on the responsibility entrusted to us in building Yemen and the role that the graduates of this department play in planning and development And urbanization, and based on the wise vision of the leadership of the university, the Department of Civil Engineering was established as one of the first departments in the university, and we are proud of the elite professors of the department who hold higher degrees and their assistants who are competent and competent.
The Department of Civil Engineering contributes to the development of the country's infrastructure, especially in light of the current situation and the total destruction caused by the aggression. The department has been interested in studies and forecasting problems that may befall architectural facilities, road facilities, water and sewage networks, and finding early solutions for them and other vital projects.
In the Department of Civil Engineering, administrators and academics, we seek to develop the educational process to provide community service and supply the labor market with graduates who enjoy professionalism within the framework of international standards and professional ethics by using various modern means and methods of scientific research, raising the level of quality and maintaining the scientific and professional foundations of civil engineering students by providing them with scientific information, professional skills, laboratory equipment, and necessary field tests, strengthening the partnership between the department and the relevant authorities, and participating in conferences related to projects to achieve integration between the academic outputs of the department and the requirements of the local, regional and international labor market.
