Al-Hikma University recognizes the winners of the third scientific contest among Yemeni public and private university students, which was conducted by the Higher Education Sector of the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research.

Al-Hikma University - Sana'a honored its students this morning for placing third in the civil engineering department and seventh in the architecture department - at the level of Yemeni public and private universities - in the third scientific competition held by the Higher Education Sector of the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research.

 

 

During the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Mukhtar Dael, the university president, gave a speech in which he congratulated the winning students on their accomplishment, which was added to the university's overall accomplishments from previous victories in sports and cultural competitions sponsored by the Ministry's Activities Department of the Higher Education Sector. He also noted that this success and excellence demonstrate the university's interest and eagerness to improve academic performance and practical training in order to achieve the desired results.He emphasized that these accomplishments also stem from the university's interest and eagerness to implement a variety of training programs and activities within the framework of its scientific mission to help students develop the skills and abilities necessary to compete in the labor market and to help with the building and development process.

 

 

Dr. Ibrahim Al-Balta, the dean of the university's Faculty of Science and Engineering, and Dr. Mohammed Al-Qabati, the head of the department of civil engineering, congratulated the students who placed third in the civil engineering scientific competition and seventh in the architecture competition. They also praised the efforts of the scientific and supervisory committees, the university leadership, and the activities department for their outstanding role in planning, coordinating, and ensuring the success of the university's participation in the competition in its third session.

 

They stressed that this scientific achievement, as well as the hard work and perseverance of these students in gaining cognitive sciences and applied skills in their fields to reach this stage of excellence and creativity, are the results of the efforts made by the university's leadership, academic staff, department heads, and faculty members.

 

They emphasized the significance of the university student scientific competition and its goals, which include fostering moral principles, advancing the educational process, fostering a competitive spirit among students, and motivating them to be inventive, creative, and hardworking as well as to share experiences and knowledge.

 

The head of the information technology department, Dr. Muhammad Al-Joudah; the vice president of the university, Dr. Majed Al-Qatawi; the advisor to faculty members, Dr. Hamoud Al-Dhafiri; the coordinator of the architecture department, Engineer Bassam; the coordinator of the department, Engineer Haifa Al-Hammadi; the activities officer, Mr. Abdulrahman Hael; and several university students from different fields attended the ceremony.
